Bill Bond II, Owner/President
has over 30 years in the railroad construction industry. Joining his dad, Bill Bond, in 1985, Bill has continued to grow the family business. Bill spends most of his time on site, but is also responsible for providing quotes and general business operations. His interests are hunting, fishing and running a small family livestock operation.
Jim Erickson
Site-Supervisor, Jim has been with the company since it was formed in 1985. He is the primary for heavy equipment operator.
TomyLee BoswellJr.
Site Forman, TomyLee has been with the company over 9 years but also brings prior construction experience to the team. Tomy Lee works day to day on the job site and is responsible for company recruiting efforts.
Joanie Bond
Joanie has been with Central States in a part time capacity since married to Bill Bond II in 1997 and is responsible for accounting and back-office operations. Although raised as an Iowa farm kid, her full-time career is focused on Technology Program Management for a major financial company in the Des Moines area. Joanie stays engaged in the family farm operation and enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with her extended family.
Trey Bond
William "Trey" Bond III is currently enrolled as a business student at Iowa State University and plays on the ISU Rugby Team. He can be found providing services for the company on summer, spring and winter breaks. Trey enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time on the river.
Central States Railroad Services was formed in 1985, when Bill Bond Sr., who had over 25 years in the construction industry, decided to form his own company.
Together, with his wife Dorothy and son Bill II, they owned and operated the company until 2013 when the company was sold to Bill and his wife Joanie.
